1. How to upload files, folders and zip archives
Here is how to upload files, folders, and zip archives using the the on-line file manager.
Steps
To upload a file into your account, you just need to drag files, folders, or zips from your pc onto the file manager.
Or click the icon in the bottom tool-bar, which will open a menu with options to upload a file, folder, or zip file. You’ll be prompted to select a file or folder from your desktop or device to upload. You can select multiple files to upload at once, but only a single folder (and its contents.)
Your files will then upload one at a time.
Once the files are finished uploading the file browser will refresh to show the new files.
If you’re uploading a zip file you’ll be prompted to choose between uploading the zip as it is, or to extract on upload (this is a much faster way to upload a lot of files.) See below for further details on how to unzip files.
2. How to download files
Here is how to download single files or download multiple files and folders as a zip file.
Steps
Browse the file manager and locate the file or folder you want to download, then right-click (or click the carat) and from the context menu choose Download. Your browser will then prompt you to open or save the file to your device.
To download multiple files or folders, click/tap+drag or CTRL/CMD+click the files/folders, then click the icon in the footer tool-bar. The files/folders will be zipped on the server and your browser will prompt you to open or save the file to your device.
3. How to upload files from the web into your account
With our file manager you can upload files from the web directly to your account.
Steps
1. Browse the file manager and locate the folder you want to download the file to, then click the icon in the footer tool-bar to open the web upload modal.
2. Enter the URL of the file to download and click OK. The file will download and the file browser will refresh to show the new file. If that file is a zip archive you can proceed to unzipping it after the upload is complete (see tutorial below).
4. How to unzip files
Here is how to upload a zip file and extract its contents on your account using the file manager.
Unzip On Upload
- Drag your zip/s onto the file manager or click the icon in the bottom tool-bar, which will open a menu with an option to upload a zip file. You’ll be prompted to select a file from your pc or device to upload. You can select multiple files to upload at once.
- You’ll be prompted to choose between uploading the zip as it is, or to extract on upload (this is a much faster way to upload a lot of files.)
- The files will then be extracted to the working directory and the file browser will refresh.
Unzip after upload
- On the file you want to unzip right-click and choose Extract from the context menu.
- The files will then be extracted to the working directory and the file browser will refresh.
